The right angle is evil. This could be constructionist Ulrich Müther’s credo. His roofs sore up into the sky, pointy and bold. His buildings have names like Teapot, Maple Leaf or Sea rose. With his bold concrete shell constructions from Warnemünde to Tripolis he had great influence on the avant-garde of architecture in Eastern Germany. Till 1999 Ulrich Müther had his own building company. He and his co-workers tell about their very own trail of stones: the feeling of a new beginning in the sixties, building in foreign countries, the changes after the collapse of the Soviet Union and their life today (DOK.fest München)
