Greek director, screenwriter and artist. Born in 1977 in Larissa, he studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts and then continued at the Universitat der Kunste in Berlin. He has participated in many exhibitions. He has also created video art and made short films. He directed his first feature film, "Without", in 2008. "Miss Violence", his second film, won the Silver Lion for best direction at the Venice festival in 2013. His latest film, "True Crime", is an American-Polish co-production.
