Biografie

With an extensive background in film and television production, Izaskun Arandia worked for well-known audiovisual companies in the United Kingdom (TwoFour, Discovery Channel, BAFTA) before founding Izar Films in 2010. Settled in the Basque Country, she has produced and directed short fillms and produced a total of 6 feature-length documentaries, including To Say Goodbye (Matt Richards, 2012), Muga deitzen da Pausoa (Stepping into the Boundary, Maider Oleaga, 2018) and Non Dago Mikel? (Where Is Mikel?, Amaia Merino, Miguel Ángel Llamas, 2021). She has also written and directed the web series Ni Naiz Naizena (I Am Who I Am, 2021). My Way Out is her directorial debut in feature films.
