Carla Pereira Docampo

Carla Pereira is a stop motion animator and co-founder of the Colectivo Engranaje studio. She has worked as a stop motion animator in series such as Clay Kids, Konijn & Konijntje, Twirlywoos, Clangers and El Diario de Bita and Cora; in shorts such as El Criptozoólogo, Uróboros and El mar; and in films such as the Norwegian Hakkebakkeskogen, Wes Anderson’s Isla de Perros, and Inzomnia, the first Mexican stop motion film. With Colectivo Engranaje, she has worked on advertising spots and promotional videos, managing animation, character design and modeling, props and direction. She made Metamorphosis, a short film she co-directed with Juanfran Jacinto, produced by Autour de Minuit and Bigaro Films.
