He began as a director and producer with his short film La higuera (2010), selected in some thirty international festivals. Later he directed and produced documentaries such as La vida a 5 nudos, a bordo del J.S. de Elcano (2015), shot for Telemadrid and premiered at the Malaga Festival, or Señores de las redes (2017), about fishermen in the North Atlantic. In 2018 he premiered his controversial first fiction feature film Diana at the Malaga Film Festival and at Le Festival des Films du Monde de Montreal. He is also a regular contributor to the film review TV programe Días de cine broadcast on TVE’s La 2, where he has worked as an editor since 2006.
