Kevin Kerslake

Biografie

One of a handful of directors responsible for forging the visual identity of the MTV generation, Kevin Kerslake has directed award-winning music videos for Nirvana, Green Day, R.E.M., the Rolling Stones, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, along with scores of live concerts and music docs, notably Nirvana: Live! Tonight! Sold Out!, The Electric Daisy Carnival Experience, and The Ramones: We're Outta Here! Kerslake completed a documentary on the making of Bob Marley and the Wailers' Legend: Remixed album for Hyundai and Universal Music Group, which won two CLIO Awards. In the realm of branded content, commercials for Nike, Puma, Kohler, Compaq, AT&T, Sprite, Coca-Cola and Sony Playstation, along with multi-platform campaigns for VEVO, DC Shoes, Quiksilver, Insomniac Events and Hyundai were instrumental in defining the identity of those brands within pop culture. Kerslake's forays into narrative work include one-hour dramas and network miniseries.
