Biografie

Miguel Necoechea graduated from the London Film School in 1972. From 1990 to 1993 he was the director of production at IMCINE and produced nearly 40 films as producer, associate producer and executive producer. As producer or executive producer, he worked in Profundo Carmesí, by Arturo Ripstein, Perdita Durango, by Alex de la Iglesia, Un dulce olor a muerte, by Gabriel Retes, based on the novel by Guillermo Arriaga, Voces Inocentes, by Luis Mandoki and Carnaval de Sodoma, by Arturo Ripstein. In 2008, he co-produced La yuma, by Florencia Jaugey, and directed two shorts. In 2009 he debuted as director in the feature film Chamaco (Kid).
