Xu Xiaoxi is a director from Chengdu, China, graduated with a Fine Arts degree from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa. He started his collaboration with Roberto F. Canuto in 2008, in a Master of Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy of Universal Studios in Los Angeles. Among their awarded films, the American productions: Toto Forever and the feature Desire Street, the Chinese productions Ni Jing: Thou Shalt Not Steal, Floating Melon and Sunken Plum. In Spain they co-directed the also awarded short Advent. Founders of the production company Almost Red Prod, they work currently between Spain and China.
