Biografie

Filmmaker and visual artist from Iceland. Born in 1973 in Reykjavík. She studied cultural anthropology at the University of Iceland, later obtaining a degree in interactive design from Middlesex University in 2001 and a BA in visual art from the Iceland Academy of the Arts in 2007. She has taken part in numerous solo and group exhibitions. She works on films as well as multimedia art. She has won many awards, including Iceland's most important film award, the Edda Award. She currently lives in Berlin.
