Biografie

Born in Mexico City on September 17th, 1985. He studied a BA in Philosophy at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He has worked in film production since 2008. He has produced several short films, among them the documentary Yuban: Tierra viva, which won the prize for Best Short Documentary awarded by the Academia Mexicana de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas (AMACC) in 2012. He has worked on four feature films: as First Assistant Director on Distancias cortas (in post-production), as Production Coordinator on the documentary Mi amiga Bety (2012) and as PA on Tlatelolco: Verano del 68 (2013) and La pantera negra (2010). He studies Film Directing at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) since 2011, a school that has given him plenty of experience in every area of filmmaking, from writing to post-production. He has directed five short films and has worked on many others as Producer, First Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Sound Mixer, Cinematographer and Editor.
