Gustavo Rondón Córdova (Caracas, 1977) studied Social Communication at the Central University of Venezuela and specialised in film in the Academic Filmmaking Programme at the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU), Czech Republic. Between 2003 and 2012 he wrote, directed and edited five shorts selected for festivals including Berlin, Biarritz, Toulouse and Havana. His most recent short film, Nostalgia, was part of the official selection at the Berlinale 2012 and was exclusively acquired by Arte.
