He studied film and TV at the National University of Colombia. At the age of 23, he made his debut feature, La sombra del caminante (The Wandering Shadows, 2004), which won 15 awards and was selected for more than 80 international film festivals. His second film, Los viajes del viento (The Wind Journeys, 2009), was in the official selection of the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes, as well as at film festivals such as Toronto, London, Rotterdam, San Sebastián,… (mehr)
