Biografie

JUSTIN NAPPI is a founder, principal and president of Treehouse Pictures, a Los Angeles-based production company established in 2010. Nappi has been a credited producer on seven major feature films. Nappi produced All Is Lost, directed by 2011 Oscar-nominee J.C. Chandor and starring Robert Redford in a critically acclaimed performance. An official selection at Cannes, the film has been nominated for two Golden Globes including Best Performance by an Actor (Drama).
Nappi and Treehouse have a number of forthcoming releases in the pipeline. He is producing Scott Coffey's Adult World, starring John Cusack and Emma Roberts, and Ramin Bahrani's 99 Homes, starring Andrew Garfield. Nappi is also an executive producer on Andrew Renzi's Franny, starring Dakota Fanning and Richard Gere.
Projects in development include the Fred Rogers biopic A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, with a script by Alexis Jolly that appeared on the 2013 Black List; and Incompatible, a new project from the team behind Robot and Frank (director Jake Schreier and writer Christopher D. Ford).
Previously, Nappi produced Nicholas Jarecki's Arbitrage, a muscular thriller set against the backdrop of the financial world. Starring Richard Gere, Susan Sarandon, Brit Marling and Nate Parker, the film premiered to glowing reviews at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. For this role, Gere earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actor (Drama). Nappi also produced At Any Price, directed by Ramin Bahrani and starring Dennis Quaid and Zac Efron. After screening at the Venice, Toronto and Telluride film festivals, the film was released by Sony Pictures Classics.
An alumnus of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Nappi studied at the Kanbar Institute of Film and Television.
Nappi grew up in Syracuse, New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles.
