Chihiro Geuzebroek, born in Amsterdam, attended the NFTA Dutch film academy where she completed a production course (2002-2003). Chihiro worked as an editor for Bodhitv (Buddhist broadcast NL) and directed the student production 'Prettige vlucht' . This environmental short documentary was shown at Kriterion theater and awarded by a jury with 1st prize student production (2008). After completing her BA Media and Culture at the University of Amsterdam she worked for the NPO (Dutch Public Broadcast) as project leader innovation and new media. In 2010 she founded Ventana Media production company and produced and directed her first feature documentary Radical Friends.
