Biografie

Arthur Flam was born in New York City. He received his B.A. from Johns Hopkins University and M.F.A. from the NYU Graduate Film School, where he made several shorts including the award-winning Lurker.

His first feature was Kill By Inches, starring Cesar-winner Emmanuel Salinger, premiering at Toronto International Film Festival and distributed by Winstar/Sundance Channel. He started in movies working on NYC productions such as Abel Ferrara's The Addiction, Sidney Lumet's Night Falls on Manhattan and Andrew Davis' A Perfect Murder.

He co-wrote the horror film Penny Dreadful, starring Mimi Rogers and theatrically released by After Dark Films. His interest in screenwriting began with his uncle Kuba Goldberg, who co-wrote Roman Polanski's Knife in the Water.
