Biografie
Mizuho Nishikubo (1953) is a Japanese screenwriter and director. He graduated from Waseda University and devoted himself to animation, later collaborating on the animated works of filmmakers Osama Dezakiho and Mamora Oshii. Independently, he then shot nearly a dozen animated TV series. His feature film debut was Atagoal: Cat's Magical Forest (Atagooru wa neko no mori, 2006), which he followed with Musashi: The Dream of the Last Samurai (Miyamoto Musashi: Sôken ni haseru yume, 2009).
