Víctor García León

Spanish screenwriter and film director. He began directing short films in 1996 with El gilipollas and El elefante del rey. His debut as feature film director was in 2001 with Más pena que Gloria (No pain, no Gain), winning the Silver Biznaga for the Best Male Performance at the Malaga Festival. In 2006 Vete de mí (Go away from me) won the Silver Shell at the San Sebastián Festival for Best Actor (Juan Diego). Throughout his career he has also worked as screenwriter and theater stage director; in fiction and documentary films, TV series, commercials and Videoclips.
