In 2017, the centennial of the Bolshevik Revolution, no official act was made in Russia. The central government decided to confine the memory of the revolution to museums. In this atmosphere of forgetfulness, some scenes detached from reality bring the past to the present. Two young roofers, Nikita and Karl, explore the city, seek for historical remains and specific sites, climb roofs. Katya, a woman of an apparent old age, goes around one of the most important spots of the revolutionary process – the Field of Mars, in St. Petersburg. Katya talks about the February revolution, the one that put an end to the Romanov dynasty. She recalls the post-revolutionary period and retrieves the figure of one of the most important intellectuals and scientists of the time – Aleksandr Bogdánov, the author of a utopian science-fiction book called "Red Star".
