Marker

Richard DeMorra, a carpenter from New Jersey, returns to Hawaii for his estranged father's funeral to find that he has inherited a mysterious legacy of personal debts, or "markers," that his wealthy, industrialist father bestowed on islanders to reward good deeds. Bequeathed a plot of land adjacent to his step-mother Kimba's estate, Richard begins to work off the markers, with the help of Danny "Pipeline" Kahala, an underground operative. (Verleiher-Text)
