Vincent Moon, pseudonym of Mathieu Saura, is an experimental filmmaker who acquired great prestige with the website La Blogotheque, an absolute must for music lovers. Nevertheless the eager director wished to explore far more than Anglo-Saxon expressions of mainstream and commercial music. In his quest for new sounds, he travelled the world and met the Argentinian-Colombian duo Lulacruz, well-known for working with traditional Latin Americarhythms. Both, filmmaker and musicians toured one of countries with the greatest biodiversity: Colombia. They began recording the sounds of nature and the activities of diverse traditional and pop musicians. The outcome is a sort of Road Movie Musical with appearances by Rocio Medina, Urian Sarmiento, Bahia Trio, Aterciopelados, Son Palenque, Luis Towers, Sexteto Tabala, Sixto “Paito” Salgado, Baudilio Cuama or Frente Cumbiero Transnacional, among others.
