Summer’s Around the Corner

Summer, a morose young woman in her twenties works at a flower shop under the supervising of her hardhanded Bulgarian boss, Katerina. Her everyday life consists of standing behind the counter, not doing anything, and hanging with her best friend Marvin, who's obviously in love with her. Unfortunately this might just be the end of it as Mr Lawrence, the owner of the funeral home across the street has his eyes on Katerina's Flower Shop. (Bushwick Film Festival)
