Indochina – 1959. Eine heruntergekommene Stadt wird von vietnamesischen Warlords und europäischen Kriegsverbrechern kontrolliert. Fünf solcher gefährlichen Männer leiten das Arbeitslager Den-Dhin-Chan. Gefangen an diesem grausamen Ort, hat sich der frühere Preisboxer Martin Tillman (Scott Adkins) einen Namen im Turnierkampf gemacht und die wohlhabendsten Gefangenen haben hohe Summen auf ihn gesetzt. Als Tillmans Entlassung naht, möchte er eigentlich nur nach Hause. Aber die korrupten Gefängnisbosse tun alles, um seine Freilassung zu verhindern. Nachdem Tillman auf brutale Weise alles entrissen wird, was ihm lieb und teuer war, sieht er sich zur Konfrontation mit den fünf Aufsehern gezwungen und nimmt Rache. (WVG Medien)

Weak. I'm getting tired of these B-movies with Scott Adkins. It's very cheap, tired and at times quite boring. The action is very mediocre, with poor sound design and lacking in intensity. The only pleasing thing is that it is about R-rated and the scene in the pub and the final fight of Marko Zaror vs Adkins are the only interesting things the film offered. 40%

Scott Adkins wasn't among my action favorites, but gradually he's earned himself into a position where I'm quite curious about his films. Sure, it's not surprising because this is quite standard B-movie fare, but when it comes to some action scenes, it's not bad. Plus, the film is pretty bloody, which I admit is a good thing for action movies.
