German shepherd Sniff has been raised by Tom.
He taught the dog much special skills and together with his girlfriend Mirjam they get in exciting adventures.
During the summer holidays Tom is staying together with Mirjam and Sniff at his uncle Hans and nephew Jaap.
They heard of a ghost castle in the neighbourhood.
The legend of this castle tells that in the Middle Ages a certain knight Betram fell in love with maid Ada, but she was already in love with the stableman.
Betram decided to take revenge on the two by a horrible manner and since then it has been said that the forest around the castle is haunted.
On their way through the woods to this castle Tom, Mirjam and Sniff track down a gang of smugglers.
This leads again to an exciting adventure....
