Five yakuza gather around their boss' deathbed, anxious. Crime boss Akitsu is about to announce the successor to his throne. His henchmen are dumbfounded when Akitsu chooses Kenji, a man no one had ever heard of. The boss' last words were, "He'll be coming soon." On the day of Akitsu's funeral, two uninvited guests show up. One is a man who claims to be a police detective, Ryotaro (Hideaki Nitani). The other is a gun-for-hire named Goro. (Nikkatsu)
