From Iran to New Orleans via Brazil, Morocco, Barcelona, Cairo or New York, "World Musicians" is a music documentary series which introduces us to the wealth of our planet's music and to the world music scene. We travel to different parts of our planet, attend festivals, meet with musicians, portray artists, and discover the urban sounds and also unknown rural music traditions.
This series seeks out the roots of music, the sounds of the past which are still alive and at the same time, the modern music which characterizes each place. It listens and communicates to the viewers the music contained in the spirit of our times.
Giving the impression of a journey, the series World Musicians captures the unique experience of listening to the music in the place where it is born and brings us into contact with the artists and the people who keep their traditions alive. By scratching the surface of the sound, it brings to light the history and the reality of music from around the world, as well as many human stories.
